Only admins with the Marketplace permission will be able to connect the app. You can still explore the features of Constant Contact without the app being connected.

The ability to sync non-constituents is only available if you have an upgraded account with Constant Contact. You can import contacts directly to Constant Contact that do not sync to Raiser's Edge NXT.

Note: Email is a unique identifier in Constant Contact. Non-constituents without email or with a shared email will not sync.

  • Real-time refresh — Updates to gift summaries, planned communications, and communications history automatically appear in real-time.

  • Daily — Updates to the List you select to sync, including Consent, occur daily.

Both the hard credit (donor) and the soft credit (recipient) are applied. Matching gift types apply to both the donor and the matching gift company.

After you connect Constant Contact and Raiser's Edge NXT, Constant Contact will be added as a Consent Source. Consent for Email and SMS is synced between Raiser's Edge NXT and Constant Contact.

Yes, you can acquire new contacts through lead generation efforts or import contacts that are not already synced to Raiser's Edge NXT. More features to support syncing of new contacts to Raiser's Edge NXT are planned for future release.

What's included in the free trial?

  • To get started, you'll need an existing Constant Contact account or a free trial account. With the free trial, you can:

  • Send up to 100 emails per month

  • Sync a Constituent list of any size to Constant Contact

  • Try out features like email automations, A/B subject line testing, and surveys

  • Use up to three users per account

  • Explore AI-powered suggestions (limited to 100 uses)

What's not included:

  • SMS

  • Planned campaigns

  • Unlimited image storage space

  • Non-constituent data syncing

Note: There's no expiration on your trial, but inactive accounts may be removed after a year.
