Fund Record Analysis
The Analysis tab gives you a visual view of fund performance, helping you quickly spot trends, understand donor behavior, and track revenue movement over time. Instead of scanning rows of data, you can use charts to see patterns, compare segments, and make informed decisions based on how the fund is actually performing.
Use this tab when you want to move from “What happened?” to “Why is it happening?” and “What should we do next?”
What You’ll Find On The Analysis Tab
The Analysis tab brings together key visual insights in one place:
-
Filters at the top apply to all charts on the page
-
Charts focused on giving patterns, donor behavior, and revenue performance
-
A responsive, interactive dashboard
-
Saved preferences for tile expansion and collapse, so the layout stays the way you like it
This layout helps you explore fund performance without rebuilding reports or switching pages.
Filters
At the top of the page, filters let you control what data you’re analyzing across the dashboard.
-
Use the Gift date filter to focus your analysis on a specific time period. By default, the Analysis tab shows At any time to support longer-term trend analysis.
-
Use the Revenue type filter to choose whether to include only received revenue from cash-in-hand giving or to also include committed revenue from pledges and matching gifts. By default, results show Received revenue.
As you change filters, all tiles update instantly so you can compare performance across time periods or revenue types without leaving the page.

How The Tiles Work Together
The Analysis tab is most powerful when tiles are used in combination:
-
Gifts by gift amount + Donors by cumulative giving: Reveal donor distribution and quality.
-
Gifts by gift type + Revenue by month: Explain monthly volatility and pacing.
-
Cumulative received and projected revenue: Acts as the overall trend line, with other tiles providing the detail behind it.
Together, these views help turn visual patterns into actionable insight — supporting smarter decisions about stewardship, outreach, and strategy.
