Giving Analysis Settings

Admins only! Use Giving analysis from Settings, Control panel to control how Raiser's Edge NXT calculates received revenue, committed revenue, and recognition. These settings ensure consistent totals in fundraising dashboards, and giving information on campaign, fund, appeal, and constituent records.

You can choose which gift types count toward each calculation. This helps your organization analyze cash‑in‑hand giving, commitments, and donor value without double‑counting revenue.

The settings for Giving analysis are:

  • Received revenue

  • Committed revenue

  • Recognition

Choose which gift types to consider as cash-in-hand giving — such as for accounting totals — for the Revenue type filter in Analysis, Fundraising dashboards and on records of campaigns, funds, and appeals. For more information, see Revenue and Recognition.
