Progress to Appeal Goals
To help motivate fundraisers and track their effectiveness, your organization may set goal amounts to acquire through appeals. Under Progress to goals from
Tip: With the Revenue type filter, you can choose whether to analyze revenue received through cash-in-hand giving or committed through pledges and matching gifts. For more information, see Revenue and Recognition.
For each appeal, you can view:
To track the appeal's success, Revenue and Number of gifts provide how much it acquired — and in how many gifts — based on the filters.
Tip: To view a list of gifts an appeal acquires, select either total. For further analysis, select Create list to open the list in Lists, where you can apply additional filters, choose columns, and save for future reuse. For more information, see Lists.
To help identify the typical gift amount received through an appeal, Average gift divides the Revenue amount by the Number of gifts total.
If your organization sets goals for raise through appeals, Goal provides the target amount to raise.
To help track the effectiveness of the appeal:

% of goal provides the percentage of the appeal's goal amount its total gifts raised.

Over (Under) provides how much the appeal's total gifts exceed (or fall short of) its goal.
