Opportunities Analysis Filters
When you analyze the performance of your organization's opportunities in Fundraising, Analyze or Reporting, the metrics under Opportunities include all active opportunities by default. To include only those that meet specific criteria, such as their funding dates or status, use the filters.
To analyze only opportunities at specific stages in your solicitation process, choose the stages to include in the Opportunity status filter and select Apply. For more information, see Opportunity Status.
To analyze opportunities based on the intent of their effort, choose which purposes to include in the Opportunity purpose filter and select Apply.
To help ensure your opportunities succeed, we recommend you assign them to fundraisers to manage the efforts and receive credit for gifts you receive as a result. To analyze only opportunities assigned to specific fundraisers, choose who to include in the Fundraiser filter and select Apply.
With opportunities, you can track the efforts to cultivate a donor through your moves management process. To analyze only opportunities with constituents at specific stages of your moves management process, choose the stages to include in the Prospect status filter and select Apply.
To analyze opportunities based on when you made their solicitations, choose the time frames to include in the Asked date filter and select Apply.
To analyze opportunities based on when you realistically intend their donors to give, choose the time frames to include in the Expected date filter and select Apply.
To analyze opportunities based on when their donors actually gave, choose the time frames to include in the Funded date filter and select Apply.
To analyze opportunities based on when they're due to be completed, choose the time frames to include in the Deadline filter and select Apply.
These filters are cumulative, so imagine an "and" between each. For example, if you specify both a deadline and an assigned fundraiser, you can analyze opportunities assigned to you that were due in the past month.
Note: Each filter includes up to 500 options. If you select Select all, you include all options, not just the first 500. You can also search for and select an option not in the first 500.
Tip: To reuse frequent filter selections, save their view to easily apply them in the future. For more information, see Saved Views of Dashboards.
