Giving Preferences
With giving preferences, you can track which philanthropic interests a constituent supports and which organizations or causes they won't give to. Use these preferences along with other prospect research to tailor targeted solicitations that match the constituent's interests and increase the likelihood of a gift.
With Prospect Research Management, you can manage a constituent's giving preferences under Prospect management on their record. Giving preferences include two lists — Philanthropic interests and Will not give to — and both draw from the same list of interests. An interest can only appear in one of the two lists at a time. For each entry, you can save an optional comment with additional details.
