Set Retries for Recurring Gifts

When credit card payments for recurring gifts fail due to a temporary soft rejection, you can control how many times Raiser's Edge NXT automatically retries them. This saves time without requiring manual intervention for each attempt.

For hard rejections, retry from the failed payment record.

1. From Settings, select Control Panel.

2. Select Gift management.

3. Under Recurring gift processing, select Edit.

4. Update the number of times to automatically retry recurring gift credit card payments after a failed attempt.

   Note: The maximum number of retries you can set for a payment is nine.

5. Select Save.
