Requirements and Examples
SMS approval requires privacy policies and terms and conditions to include specific statements. Ensure your content includes required statements described below and shown in examples.
The links you provide during configuration must be complete (not draft), published content on a secure (HTTPS) site. Do not submit "Coming soon" pages or Google Docs.
Privacy Policy Requirements
Sharing or selling SMS opt‑in data results in rejection and is the most common cause of carrier rejection. Include a statement that SMS opt‑in data and consent are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
If your policy includes data sharing disclosure for areas other than SMS, include a statement that the SMS program does not share data, such as, "All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt‑in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties."

"We do not share SMS opt-in information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information with our service provider who assists in SMS delivery. To opt out, reply "STOP" to any message. For assistance, reply "HELP."
Terms and Conditions Requirements
SMS terms and conditions must clearly describe the SMS program. These terms may be standalone or included within general terms, as long as SMS content is clearly identified. Required elements include:
