Add Consent to Donation Forms
To let donors choose specific communications they're interested in receiving from your organization, add consent preferences to your donation forms. From Online Giving, Donation forms, create or edit a form.

From Optional fields, select Collect opt-ins under Consent preferences.

To add up to six channels or categories to the form, under Channels and categories select Add opt-in. Next, select the channel or category you want to add to the form. Repeat this process for each one you want to add to the form.
Note: If you add only one opt-in and want it to display on it's own card, you must include a consent statement. Otherwise, it will appear under the donor's email address. For multiple opt-ins, they always appear in a list on one card.

If you would like to change the label for the channels and categories you add, update the text in Checkbox label.

If you would like all of the checkboxes selected on the form, select Default all checkboxes to selected.
Note: To be GDPR compliant, you should not default the checkboxes to selected.

To display a consent statement, select Display consent statement. If necessary, update the default statement.

To display a link to your organization's privacy policy, select Display privacy footer. If necessary, update the footer statement.
Note: For the privacy policy to automatically create a hyperlink, the URL must be made available in Settings, Tools, Form settings, and the term "privacy policy" must be in the statement.

Continue configuring the form or save it.

From Form, select and move Consent options from Fields in the Form designer to a location on the form.

Under Consent options, select the channels and categories to add to the form. If necessary, update the display labels for your selections.

Select Other settings to:

Update the label for the consent options text.

Update and display the consent statement.

Select to show all consent options as selected by default.

Select to display the privacy policy.
Note: For the privacy policy to automatically create a hyperlink, the URL must be made available in Settings, Tools, Form settings.

Select Done.
