Vertical or Horizontal Gift Layout

On a Standard Donation Form, gift amounts display horizontally. To change the layout, display the gift amounts vertically. A vertical layout enables you to include descriptions next to each amount.

Optimized Donation Forms have a set layout so that the donor experience is streamlined and engaging.

Change the Layout on a Standard Form

1. From Online Giving, select Donation forms.

2. Create a new Standard Donation Form or select one to edit.

3. From Form, select Click to edit on the gift amounts.

4. Under Options, Ask ladder layout, select:

   • Horizontal buttons to display the amounts across the form.

   • Vertical list and optional descriptions to display the amounts down the form.

     Tip: Only the vertical list displays descriptions next to each amount. To add descriptions, select the gift type tab, such as One-time, Recurring, or Pledge, and enter the gift amounts and descriptions.

   • Donor-entered amount only to display a place for the donor to enter their own gift amount. No other gift amounts display.

5. Select Done.
