Enable Intelligent Ask on Standard Donation Forms
Intelligent Ask increases the average gift amount to help you raise more for your organization by presenting personalized one-time gift amounts to unknown donors. For example, if the first amount in a Standard Donation Form's ask ladder is $50, it may adjust to $60 for a donor.
Blackbaud's data model adjusts the one-time gifts amounts you configure on a Standard Form to display the amounts a donor is most likely to give. It uses a combination of data such as the device and browser accessing the form to determine those amounts per donor. By default, Intelligent Ask is turned on when you create a form.
To turn it on or off, create or edit a Standard Donation Form from Online Giving, Overview. Under Get started, Fundraising opportunities, select Intelligent Ask.
FAQs
Is Blackbaud sharing my organization's and donor's data with other Blackbaud customers?
No. The data we use is what we detect at the time an unknown donor accesses the donation form.
Will a donor's history determine which amounts display to the donor?
No. Giving history isn't available because donors are unknown when they access the form.
How is Intelligent Ask for Standard Forms different from the gift range in Optimized Forms?
For a Standard Form, Intelligent Ask adjusts the gift amounts in the ask ladder based on the donor. An Optimized Form doesn't change the gift amounts in the ask ladder. Instead, those amounts are the same for all donors.
