Add Parameters to URLs in the UI

Use the URL parameter builder to add parameters to a URL without manually building the hyperlink.

1. From Online Giving, Donation forms, find the form you want to use.

2. Under Publish, select URL parameters.

3. Select Build hyperlink with parameters.

4. Under Webpage of form, select whether this form is hosted by Blackbaud or on your website.

   Note: If you select Form is on my site, enter the URL where the form is located in Donation form URL.

5. Under Parameters to pass, select each type of parameter you want to add to the URL.

   Tip: If you select a designation, you can enter a donor-friendly name in the Designation name field that will appear on the form. %20 automatically replaces spaces in the name when you use the URL.

6. Get a copy of the hyperlink with parameters.

   • Select Copy link to copy the hyperlink with the parameters.

   • Select Download QR code to download the QR code with the parameters.

7. After you have the link or QR code, select Close.
