Donation Form Merge Fields
To help personalize your donation confirmation email to donors, you can include merge fields to provide details about the specific gift, such as name, and transaction information. To include personal information about the donor and gift in the email, choose it from Merge fields, Donation forms as you edit its content's text.
Note: Donation form merge fields are available when creating or editing a donation form.

Gift amount displays the amount the donor chose to give on a donation form.

First name displays the name of the donor that gave the gift. This will match the first name in donor name on the transaction details.

Last name displays the name of the donor that gave the gift. This will match the first name in donor name on the transaction details.

Specific details about a donor's gift can be displayed, as a block of information, in the confirmation email by selecting Merge fields, Donation forms, Transaction details.

Amount displays the amount of the gift given by the donor.

Donor name displays the first and last name of the donor.

Recurring frequency displays the frequency chosen by the donor when giving a recurring gift.

Next gift date displays the upcoming date for the next recurring gift payment.

Gift date displays the date the gift is processed.

Transaction id displays the unique id for each gift record.

Billing name displays the first and last name entered while entering credit card information. This may be different from the donor name.

Billing address displays the address entered while entering credit card information.

Billing payment displays the type of payment - such as Visa Credit Card - and the identifying number, usually the last four digits of the card.

Transaction date displays the date the donor made the gift with the donation form.
