Gift Aid rules
Under Gift Aid Management, Gift Aid rules, you can set rules for which gift type to include in claims, and the required amount of time to wait to claim gift aid on verbal declarations.

For any gifts where a verbal declaration was given, you may want to confirm with the donor before claiming gift aid. After the gift confirmation is sent, you can set a minimum number of days required to wait until gift aid is claimed.

Under Verbal declarations, select Edit.

Enter the number of days required to wait.

Select Save.

Under Qualification rules, select the gift field on the gift record that you want to set gift aid rules around, such as appeals, campaigns, gift types, etc.

Select edit

Choose to qualify all or select specific ones to disqualify.

Select Allow exceptions to let the disqualified status be overridden on individual gift records under Gift Aid, Edit, Set as qualified.

Select Save.

Under Disqualify by custom fields rules, select New custom field exclusion.

Select the custom category you want to disqualify.

Enter the value.

Select Allow exceptions to let the disqualified status be overridden on individual gift records under Gift Aid, Edit, Set as qualified.
