Online Test Registrations
After you add an online registration form for a paid event, you can submit a test registration and credit card transaction when the payment configuration is set to test or demo mode.
Note: If you add a fee to the event for credit card testing, set the amount to at least $0.50 so the form can process the transaction.
Test an online registration

To process payments in Raiser's Edge NXT, you must add a configuration in the database view under Configuration, Business rules, Merchant accounts. For testing, select Test or Demo in the Process mode field.
Note: A configuration includes information about the gateway, access credentials, fraud protection options, currencies, and credit card types that your processor supports. For more information, see Get Started with Payment Processing.

From the event’s record, under Online registration forms, select Edit from the form’s menu
and select the configuration under Get started in the Process payments with field. -
Under Publish, copy your registration form's code to embed in your website. For more information, see Publish Online Registration Form.

Navigate to the form on your website and submit test registrations. To test credit card payments, use these credit card numbers.
Note: Test registrations create participant and gift records in your database and count toward the event's participant and payment totals.
Activate an online registration form
After you publish and test an online registration form for a paid event, set the payment configuration status to live mode. In the database view, under Configuration, Business rules, Merchant accounts, select Live in the Process mode field.
