Add a Gift Subtype to Donation Forms

Gift subtypes classify gifts for tracking and reporting. When you add a gift subtype to a donation form, the value is automatically written to the gift record and reduces manual entry when you approve gifts in a batch.

1. From Online Giving, Donation forms, select a form to edit or create a new one.

2. From Hidden fields, select a gift subtype.

3. Continue to edit the form and save it.
