Add Parameters to URLs in the UI

Use the URL parameter builder to add parameters to a URL without manually building the hyperlink for the donation form or membership form.

1. From Online Giving, select Donation forms or Membership forms, and find the form you want to use.

2. Under Publish methods, select URL parameters.

3. Select Build hyperlink with parameters.

4. Under Webpage of form, select whether this form is hosted by Blackbaud or on your website.

   Note: If you select Form is on my site, enter the URL where the form is located in Donation form URL or Membership form URL.

5. Under Parameters to pass, select each type of parameter you want to add to the URL.

   • For donation forms, you can add a Designation, Campaign, Appeal, and Package.

     Tip: You can add a package only after you've added an appeal.

   • For membership forms, you can add a Membership, Designation, Campaign, Appeal, and a Membership is a gift.

6. Get a copy of the hyperlink with parameters.

   • Select Copy link to copy the hyperlink with the parameters.

   • Select Download QR code to download the QR code with the parameters.

7. After you have the link or QR code, select Close.
