Opportunities

Prospect Insights Pro suggests gift ask amounts based on a prospect's likely gift capacity to help you maximize fundraising outcomes. Suggestions include:

• Ask amount: reflects a value within of the prospect's target gift range and is an aggressive goal

• Expected amount: either the lower range of the prospect's target gift range or the maximum cumulative giving from the prospect in the past three years, depending on which value is larger

• Deadline: reflects your organization's fiscal year settings

For new opportunities, these values are automatically added to the opportunity form. For existing opportunities, select Accept recommendations to update your current amounts and deadline.

Note: Opportunity values are recommendations. Adjust them as needed to fit your organization's strategy.

Tip: To create a series of actions to support the new opportunity, select Create an action plan from the success message that appears after you save the opportunity. If you don't see this option, contact your admin to determine if your organization has enabled Blackbaud AI.
