Roles, tasks, and permissions
Roles, tasks, and permissions control what users can see and do. You can use the following role tasks to control user access by assigning the tasks to specific roles.
Note: Constituent code based record security doesn't apply to Prospect Insights Pro data. Users can view Prospect Insights Pro data for any prospect record permitted by their portfolio permissions. For more information, see Record Security.
Prospect workflow tasks

Manage prospects — Allows users to manage prospect qualifications, assignments, and dismissals.

Research prospects — Allows users to view prospect information, including giving history and wealth attributes.

Personal portfolio — Allows users to view prospect information for only the prospects assigned to them. Typically, this task is assigned to fundraisers.

All portfolios — Allows users to view information for all prospects, including which fundraisers are assigned to a prospect. Generally, this task is assigned to researchers, directors, or chief development officers.
Each Prospect workflow tasks has one or more of the following permissions.

View — Allows users to view prospect information, including giving history and wealth attributes.

Assign — Allows users to assign prospects to a fundraiser.

Manage personal portfolio — Allows users to view prospect information for only the prospects assigned to them.

Manage all portfolios — Allows users to view information for all prospects, including which fundraisers are assigned to a prospect.
