Upcoming Donor Events

Know exactly what events are coming up so you can get ahead of donor outreach, confirm staffing early, and walk into every event prepared.

Replace [CATEGORY NAME] with the event category as it's configured in your database, such as Gala, Workshop, or Annual Stewardship. Blackbaud AI filters your event records by the category name and start date you provide. Because event categories are user-defined in Raiser's Edge NXT, this prompt works with any category your organization has set up. You can also filter by your event group names.

This prompt returns organizational events only. It doesn't support filtering by attendee or donor. To see events a specific constituent has attended, open their record and ask about their event participation.

Filtering by location, capacity, or registration status isn't available yet. If those filters would be valuable for your work, suggest them in the Blackbaud AI - Chat Idea Bank.

To filter events by time period, use natural language in your prompt. Blackbaud AI translates it into the appropriate date range, for example:

• "upcoming": Events starting today or later

• "this month" or "next quarter": Events within that window

• "past events": Events already occurred

• "starting after January 1" : Events with a start date after that date

• "ending before June 30" : Events with an end date before that date
