Options

Options lets you configure how data from Luminate Online is handled when it flows into Raiser’s Edge NXT. These settings control defaults for new constituents, address sourcing, matching behavior, and record creation.

From Data management, Luminate Online, select the gear icon to configure Options.

From Options, you can:

  • Set a default constituent code: Specify a constituent code that you can later apply to all new constituents from Luminate Online if the one you need does not already exist. This helps ensure new records are organized consistently in Raiser's Edge NXT.

  • Configure address information sources: Define the information source for address coming from Luminate Online. You can either select an existing source or create a new information source. This ensures address data is properly attributed when records are updated from the integration.

  • Control constituent matching behavior: Set default constituent matching criteria that determines how incoming records are matched to existing constituents. The defaults affect how the system determines whether a constituent is considered a potential duplicate (matched) or unmatched.

  • Automatically create new constituent records: Choose whether to automatically create new records in Raiser’s Edge NXT when new constituents appear from Luminate Online. When enabled, new constituents are created automatically if no match is found. When disabled, new records are not created automatically.
