Goal Meter Designer
Goal meters are Website Components that display the progress of a fundraising goal and update dynamically as you receive gifts. You can customize the goal meter's style to match your website. After you embed it on your website, any future changes you make to the styling or goal amount update automatically.
Note: After a gift is made it may take up to 30 minutes for your embedded goal meter to update.
Note: If you use Raiser's Edge NXT, all gifts must be approved in batch to be included in the total amount on goal meters.
Note: If you use Blackbaud CRM, gifts from donation forms must be approved in a batch to be included in the total amount on goal meters.
The goal meter's total amount includes:

only the first gift of a recurring gift when a donation form is the source of gifts
Warning: Changes made to the donation after the initial transaction, such as a refund, are not reflected in the goal meter's total amount.
Design your goal meter

Enter an internal name for the goal meter.

Set a goal amount.

You can set additional goals that will display automatically after the previous goal is met. This means that as your fundraising goal grows, you can use the same goal meter without re-embedding it on your website.

Select a gift date range for the goal meter.

Style the font and background of the goal meter. Your style selections automatically update under Display.

Select a Display style for your goal meter.

Select Save and Next.
Embed your goal meter

Review the goal meter styling under Preview.

Select Copy to copy your goal meter's code.

Paste the goal meter code on your website. You only need to embed the goal meter once. Any future changes appear automatically after you select Save.
Note: The goal meter's initial upload may take a several minutes to load the data from the gift list. It will display $0 on your website until it finishes loading.
