Welcome Email and Invoice Settings
Welcome Email and Invoice Settings allows you to view PDFs of invoices for the family. You can send out the most recent invoice as an email to the family.
To access Welcome Email and Invoice Settings:

From the Families menu, select View All Families.

Use the available filters to find the appropriate family.

Select the Family Name. This opens the Main Family Page.

Expand the arrow menu
on the left side of the page, select More Options, and select Welcome Email & Invoice Settings.

School Administrator Users and School Finance Users can choose when Welcome Emails and Invoices are delivered in Manage School Settings.

Welcome Email: If a welcome email has not been sent yet, selecting Generate And Send Welcome Email will send a welcome email to the family prior to the email being automatically generated. Sending the welcome email manually via this tool overrides the automatic email settings for that family, so the family will not receive the same welcome email twice unless you opt to re-send it.
If, you need to send another copy of the welcome email, select Resend Welcome Email.

Invoice for next billing cycle: To download a PDF of the family's most resent invoice, select. Open Invoice Preview. To send the most recent invoice to the family via email, select Send Invoice Preview.
Note: Invoice for next billing cycle is only available if the family has future billing dates with balances.

Use Open PDF to review an invoice and welcome letter for a specific invoice date.
Stop Invoice Mailings

All Payment Materials: This allows you to turn off communication to the family regarding billing. To turn off communication, select Off, enter a reason for the change, and select Confirm. This will appear under the family's notes and requests.
Note: Blackbaud Tuition Management will no longer offer paper invoices sent via mail beginning with the 2026-2027 school year.
