Batch Staging Tables
When a batch is created from a batch template, the end user may user the provided batch user interface grid to enter and save new rows into one or several batch staging tables (a.k.a. base tables).

From here, the data can be validated and ultimately committed to the production tables. In addition, an import process can be created to bring data directly into the staging tables, bypassing the batch user interface grid.
