OLAP Exercise Steps

1. Open the application.
2. Go to Analysis.
3. Click OLAP explorer. The OLAP Explorer screen appears.
4. This may take more than a few seconds.
5. Select the cube.
6. From the Slicer, under Series, from Measures, clear the current measure and select another. Try Revenue Count by Appeal End Date.
7. Click OK.
8. Under Categorical, from Appeal End Date, clear some of the options.
9. Click OK.
10. Clear and select options until the graph changes.
11. 0 is a significant option with some sample data.
12. Try some other measures.
13. Under Measures and Dimensions, click and hold an item. Drag it to Series.
14. Try it again with another item. This time, drag it to Categorical.
15. Examine the drop-downs for those items.
