If you use Volunteer Management for The Raiser’s Edge, you can create a Volunteer Opportunity part to show a list of jobs on your website. A website user can learn about the volunteer jobs, sign up for a job position, and enter data that is relevant to the position. For example, the volunteer can provide emergency contact information, special skills and needs, and medical needs.

With the Volunteer Opportunity part, you can create a volunteer page that includes a list of volunteer jobs at your organisation. Once the user selects a job from the job list, details about the job appear, such as its description, start date, and position. After the user clicks the sign-up button, the volunteer sign-up form appears. The user completes this form to submit to your organisation.
Volunteer transactions appear on the NetCommunity page in The Raiser’s Edge. When a volunteer transaction processes, the data appears on the Volunteer tab on the user’s constituent record and a job assignment for the user appears on the job record. For more information, see Volunteer Requests.
