Virtual Terminal

From the Blackbaud Merchant Services Web Portal, use Virtual Terminal to process one-time card payments outside your other Blackbaud solutions. You can process both card-present and card-not-present transactions.

Note: Transactions entered through Virtual Terminal don’t appear in other Blackbaud solutions or apps. When possible, add transactions through your solution, such as Blackbaud CRM or Raiser’s Edge NXT.

Tip: Don’t see Virtual Terminal? Contact your system admin for access.

Process a payment through Virtual Terminal

1. Select Virtual terminal from the navigation.

2. Choose whether you have the card at your physical location.

3. Under Transaction details:

   • Select a category and account configuration.

   • Enter an amount and optional comment.

4. Under Account holder information, enter the payer's name and address.

5. Select Start payment process.

6. Enter payment information, then select Finish and pay.

Tip: To send email acknoweldgements, configure email acknowledgement settings.
