Donation Activity

The Donation Activity tab details current giving history and includes items that are Scheduled and Donated YTD in the current calendar year.

When your donation appears in this tab, you can do the following from the Action menu:

  • Edit: You can edit certain info, such as the amount of your donation, the date of your donation, the method of your donation, the privacy of your personal info, etc. If you choose to add a name, email, and/or address to your donation, your city and zip code info will be overwritten.

    Note: At this time, you can't edit recurring credit card donations.

  • Cancel: If the donation hasn't been processed yet, you can remove the donation.

    • To cancel a donation, locate the donation, select Cancel from the Action menu, then select Yes, Remove.

    • Canceling a pledge also cancels the associated match request, if there is one. Users receive a failure email if a match request is canceled for any reason.

    • If the donation is locked because of its status or if the donation has already been deducted, reach out to Support or your Customer Success Manager for assistance.

  • View Donation Record: This option allows you to view a summary of your donation and print the receipt.

    To determine if a donation is a recurring credit card donation, the Frequency will be Recurring in the Donation Record Summary.

  • Apply for Match: If there are available matches, you can select a match program for your donation.

  • Donate Again: This option redirects to the charity organization page tied to the pledge. This only displays if the organization has the Give feature enabled.

Scheduled

This section reflects all donations that have not yet been processed but are scheduled for a future time. This includes both Year Round and Campaign payroll donations.

Tip: For a donation that is Awaiting Deduction, selecting the status opens a pop-up that reflects the date that the donation is scheduled to be deducted.

Note: If you cancel an active pledge, your remaining match total may be inaccurate until your pending deductions have been processed.

Donated YTD

This section provides details on all donations in the calendar year that have been completed.

  • Offline Donations move to Donated YTD immediately.

  • One-time and Recurring Payroll donations move to Donated YTD once the actual file is received by YourCause CSRconnect.

  • Cause Card donations move to Donated YTD once they have been redeemed.

By default, your donations will be listed by most recent donation date. You can use the column headers to sort your donations or you can search for a charity.
