Ad hoc reports

Ad hoc Tableau reports allow you to "slice and dice" giving and volunteering data. Use them to learn about transactions, aggregates, employee-specific Giving and Volunteering details, and groups. It can also be a great diagnostic tool for reviewing HR file information.

For example, use this report to review:

Amount in dollars that the organization has given in matching gift programs this year
Your organization's employee population across different countries
Which day of the week employees are most likely to redeem their cause cards

To access these reports:

As a client admin, from the CSRconnect Admin Portal, select Report.
Select Ad Hoc.

To "future proof" your Tableau reports, think ahead. What purpose could they serve in the future? Add custom filters to make your reports multi-purpose. Create a plan for a standardized naming convention to help organize your reports.

Use visuals for your reports to build a story about your programs and employee engagement.

Consider providing a general training for your full team, then a more in depth training with your team's reporting lead to learn how to build and edit reports.
