Tableau Admin User Setup

Want to add another Tableau reporting admin, but don't know where to start? This guide will show you how!

  • What does Ad Hoc and View Only Admin mean?

    • Ad Hoc admins can create and save reports

    • View Only admins can view and export existing reports

  • You may locate your number allowed users in your contract or by reaching out to your Customer Success Manager for assistance.

  • Swapping Admins

    • You can swap admin access to other users!

    • Reach out to your Customer Success Manager if you wish to exchange an existing admin's access to a new admin.

  • Adding Tableau Admins: Step by Step

    1. Your Customer Success Manager confirms the admin type requested and has you complete a Change Order for additional licensing (if needed).

      • Once a Change Order is signed, our Finance department will issue you an invoice.

    2. Your Customer Success Manager will confirm that your Community has Tableau set-up. If not, your Customer Success Manager will update this setting.

    3. Your Customer Success Manager will add the new Tableau admin(s) through the CSRconnect Admin Portal.

    4. New Tableau admins will have access to Tableau within the next 24 hours.
