Development Agent Roles, Tasks, and Permissions

Roles, tasks, and permissions control what users can see and do. By default, a Development Agent role exists for base functionality of the agent itself. Your solution administrator can create a new role, add additional permissions, and assign the role to staff members so they can work with the agent.

Note: By default, all supervisor users have access to the agent.

Create a role

  1. On the left menu of Raiser's Edge NXT, select Security, then Role management.

  2. Select User management, locate your team member, and select their name.

  3. Select Manage roles.

  4. Under Artificial intelligence roles, select New.

  5. Enter a role name (for example, Development Agent manager) and a description.

  6. Under Virtual employees tasks, select the Use Development Agent task.

  7. (Optional) Adjust permissions by selecting Show permissions and clearing the permissions you want to remove.
