Onboarding progress
Track your agent’s onboarding progress by reviewing how many constituents are currently assigned and how many more it can take on as it advances through each phase. As the agent progresses, it can manage more assignments and send outreach at a faster pace.
Assignment limits are based on the number of constituents assigned to the agent, regardless of whether a constituent responds to or engages with the agent. A constituent remains assigned until they are unassigned or replaced.
Review the manual and automatic assignment amounts and advance when you're ready.
Note: Once you move to the next phase, you can't return to a previous phase. Be sure you’re ready to increase the agent’s assignment capacity before advancing.
In phases 1 and 2, don't exceed the manual assignment limit. Constituents beyond the limit won't receive communications.
To move to phase 3, you must have at least 20 manually assigned constituents.

* If no manual assignments are made, the agent assigns only the automatic assignments shown for that phase.
How automatic assignments work
Automatic assignments begin in Phase 3. You can continue to add manual assignments in any phase, but the total number of assigned constituents can’t exceed the phase’s assignment limit.
Automatic assignments are applied all at once, not gradually, but are capped at 20 assignments per day. If the agent can’t identify available constituents who fit the mid‑level donor profile, it pauses new automatic assignments until more qualifying constituents become available.
The agent identifies eligible constituents using Blackbaud’s Prospect Insights Pro analytics. The agent considers only constituents who:

Do not already have a human fundraiser assigned

Fall within your organization’s defined mid‑level giving range (defined in Data mappings)
Automatic assignments run once per month, at midnight on the first day of the month. If no eligible constituents are available at that time, the agent pauses automatic assignments until more qualifying constituents become available.
