Add a student conduct infraction

1. On a student record, select the Conduct tab.

Tip: From the Home page, to quickly add a new student conduct infraction, under Other tasks, click Add a new infraction.

2. In the Conduct infractions grid, click New.

3. Enter the date the infraction occurred and select the infraction.
4. Your name defaults into the Reported by field. If another faculty member reported the infraction, click the binoculars to search for and select the faculty member.
5. Search for and select the location of the infraction.
6. If the conduct requires a letter, select the type of letter sent and if mailed, select the checkbox and enter the date sent.
7. The school in which the conduct infraction occurred defaults. If the school is not correct, select the correct school.
8. In the Notes box, enter any additional information about the conduct infraction.
9. In the Consequence grid, select the consequence for the conduct infraction and enter the consequence details. If the infraction requires more than one consequence, click New to add another consequence row.

Tip: To view a printer-friendly version of the consequence, such as when you want to print a copy for the student, click Print. To print, from the web browser menu, click FilePrint.

10. Click OK to add the new conduct infraction and return to the student record.
