Add or Edit a User's Host ID
The host ID is a unique string of characters used to match a user's information in two different databases. Each user can have only one host ID.
If your school used another database before the 'Blackbaud's Education Management' products, a user's host ID is usually the user ID from the original database. These were added in bulk when you implemented the 'Blackbaud's Education Management'products and uploaded initial users.
If your school integrates the 'Blackbaud's Education Management' products with a 3rd party database, you probably set up a data import and mapped the user ID from the external database to the host ID field in the 'Blackbaud's Education Management'products.

Select Core.

Select People finder.

In the Type a namefield, enter and select the name of the individual you want to work with. The selected individual's profile page appears. The Host ID appears at the top of the profile page.

Select the Edit icon next to Host ID.

Enter or edit the host ID.

Select Save.
