Profile Relationship Access

A platform manager can enable users to view and edit the information of the user they have relationship with. For example, enable parents the ability to edit their child's profile information.

  1. Select Core.

  2. Select Security.

  3. Select Profile access.

  4. Select Profile relationship access.

  5. In the left-hand column, select a role. To affect all users, select the "all school" role.

  6. In the top right corner, select Edit.

  7. Select one:

    • Do not allow access to any fields
      Select this to prevent people from viewing the profile fields of their relationships.

    • Use the following custom settings

      Select this to grant special profile viewing or editing access to the relationship's profile.

      For each field, determine whether members of the role can View or Edit the information for the selected relationship. By default, No is selected to prevent access.

  8. Select Save.
