Table values for pronouns
Platform managers configure the available options for pronouns.

Select Core.

Select Users.

Select User profile settings.

Select Pronouns.

View and manage the settings for pronouns.

To create a new pronoun, select + Add. Next, enter pronouns such as They/Their/Theirs. If a pronoun value should be available for use, mark it Active. Then select Save.

To update existing values, find the pronoun's row and select More. Then select Edit. Enter the change and select Save. You can edit pronoun values, even if they're in use. User profiles with this value are automatically updated.

If a pronoun should no longer be used, mark it inactive. To resume using it, mark it active. On the pronoun row, select More, then Edit. If the value should appear in menus, select Active and then Save.

If a pronoun value is not in use, you can remove it. On the pronoun's row, select More, then Delete. Confirm the change.

Tip: To update a user's preferred pronouns, update their contact card data. The default pronouns for their selected gender appear, but you can select different preferred pronouns. To configure additional options for gender values, see Table values for gender and default pronouns.
