• Candidates are included in the count of students when they have an enrollment for that school year. Schools can enroll them individually or in bulk. Thus individuals may be counted as both candidates and students.

• Use the enroll date attribute to view a student's most recent enrollment date. Consider grouping by year for comparisons.

• When you use the school year enroll date, the value appears empty for returning students in the year of their return. For new students, the enroll date and school year enroll dates are the same. To eliminate empty values, filter by school year enroll date; only new students for the date range are counted.
