Official Notes
Faculty and staff can use official notes to record comments about students. Official notes can be read and e-mailed to users associated with the student (i.e. parents) and can also be monitored by Comments Managers, Platform Managers, and members of a Monitoring Team.

To approve official notes that require a review:

Make sure you are in Academics and logged in as a user who belongs to an official notes monitoring team.

Go to Communications and select Official notes. You will arrive at the Manage official notes tab.
Note: You can also use Official notes ready to approve and Official Notes No approval required links from the Academics Home page to arrive here as well.

The list displays all Official notes, including drafts. Use the Filter or Column options to refine the data being displayed and the Search field to find something specific.

You can edit or delete them as necessary using the context menu.
You can also review official notes via the Academics Dashboard by selecting Home, going to the Items to review tile, and selecting the number under Official notes ready to approve and Official Notes No approval required as well. For more information, see Items to Review on Dashboard.
