Enroll Incoming Students (in Bulk)

After a platform manager marks the upcoming school year as the current year, they should enroll students in bulk.

When you enroll students, you change their user roles from "incoming students" to "students." "Parents of incoming students" are automatically reclassified as "parents" of current students when the students are updated.

Their access and security rights change to those of their new user roles and personas, such as to view course requests, resource boards, community groups, and more.

Re-Classify Incoming Students to Current Students

  1. Select Core.

  2. Select Users.

  3. Select Enroll incoming students.

  4. Confirm the new year appears at the top of the screen.

  5. For each grade level select Re-classify.

  6. Select the individual incoming students who should become current Students or select Check all to make them all current students.

  7. Select Save.

  8. Repeat for each grade level.

Tip: To update enrollment for a single student, see access.
