Manage automatic payments
Automatic payments (Auto-Pay) eliminate the need to manually log in and make a payment each time one is due.
There are two types of Auto-Pay: one for fees included in a payment plan, and another for all other charges. Each type of Auto-Pay must be set up separately.
To enroll in Auto-Pay for a payment plan, the student must be on a payment plan for the current billing year. Plans from earlier years cannot be enrolled, so they offer no Auto-Pay option on your Current bill.
Note: Auto-Pay may not be available yet at your school. Auto-Pay for incidentals is currently only available to a limited number of schools. Your school can also choose to enroll payers themselves rather than let you self-enroll.
To get started, hover over Billing in the navigation and select Current bill. You can also enroll from the Auto-Pay section of your Payment plans page.
Enroll in Auto-Pay
-
Under Accounts, below the Auto-Pay column, select Enroll beside Payment Plan or Incidental.
-
Under Payment method, select an available option. Some options may not be available at your school.
-
Select either Enter card details, for credit cards, or Enter account details, for direct debit, and enter the corresponding billing details.
-

Pause or resume Auto-Pay
Pause Auto-Pay to prevent automatic withdrawal from your credit card or bank account.
Schools can pause Auto-Pay on your behalf if needed; however, you are responsible for resuming it.
To pause Auto-Pay, select the context menu located to the right of the Auto-Pay column and choose Pause auto-pay.
Change your Auto-Pay payment method
Select the context menu located to the right of the Auto-Pay column. Choose Update payment method.
(Canada) Review Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) Agreement

PAD only applies to Auto-Pay enrollments that use direct debit as the payment method in Canada.
To review your PAD agreement:
-
Select Edit Auto-Pay.
-
Select View PAD agreement.
When Auto-Pay payments are processed
Auto-Pay payments are scheduled three days before the due date and begin processing one day before. For the full timeline and which changes you can still make once a payment is scheduled, see When Auto-Pay takes your payment.
