Assessment Reporting

Note: For more information on building assessments, see Assessments Guide.

Teachers may want to take a closer look at how their class performed as a whole on an assessment or to identify questions students struggled with. From the Assignment Center, teachers can select an assessment name, then Detailed breakdown to view data points and additional information on their class's assessment results.

  • Unless otherwise noted, assessments with ungraded essay questions are excluded from score metrics.

  • If a student submits an assessment multiple times, only the most recent submission is included in the metrics.

  • Dropped students are excluded from metrics.

  • Select the ellipsis icon in graphs to download the graph data or print an image of the graph.

  • If an assessment is shared across multiple class sections, teachers can use Select section results to display the results for multiple class sections at once in the Detailed breakdown and compare the results across those sections.

Question insights

At a glance, teachers can identify the Most correct question and the Most incorrect question. Most incorrect question is comprised of both Incorrect and Partial responses. If there is a tie, multiple questions may be listed.

  • Hover over a bar in the graph or over a label in the key to isolate that response category in the graph.

  • Select a response category in the key to include or exclude that category in the graph.
