Conduct Infraction Thresholds
Conduct managers can create thresholds which will assign an infraction once a certain number of infractions have been assigned, or a number points have been reached. The consequence affiliated with the infraction will also be assigned. Thresholds are tied to specific school levels.
Note: If you would like to use point thresholds, you will need to make sure your school has enabled a point system. To do this, go to the Infractions tab, select + Edit rules, and then select Use points system.
This help topic explains the Thresholds tab of Conduct setup. For information on the other tabs, see Conduct Infractions Setup, Conduct Consequences Setup, and Attendance Rules for Conduct
To get started:
-
From the persona menu, select Academics.
-
Choose Conduct and Conduct setup.
-
Select Thresholds.

-
Select Thresholds.
-
Choose the appropriate school level.
-
Select Add Threshold.
-
Enter the number of infractions needed to trigger another infraction.
Note: If your school uses points, enter the number of points needed to trigger an infraction.
-
Choose the infraction that will be assigned.
For example, if your school would like to trigger a new infraction when a student reaches 15 conduct points, you might have an infraction called "15 Conduct Points Reached."
Note: If you have not set up an infraction type for this threshold, return to the Infractions tab and create one.
-
Under Access, enter the number of points away from an infraction needed to trigger a notification.
-
Choose the users who will be notified.
-
Use the placeholders available to create the Email notification message.
-
Select Save & Close.
Once you have established thresholds and assigned an infraction for each threshold, you can begin associating consequences.
For example, your school might create a threshold for when a student reaches 15 conduct points. This would trigger a new infraction called "15 Conduct Points Reached" for that student. You could then assign a consequence, such as "After-School Suspension," via the Consequences tab. For more information, see Conduct Consequences Setup.
