Conduct
Schools can use Conduct to record and track behavioral infractions, and to tie them to consequences such as detentions or verbal warnings. Consequences can also be tied to absences and tardies, and thresholds can be created to trigger a consequence after a certain number of infractions.
Schools can enable
To get started:

A user with the conduct manager role can set up conduct. This role can be filtered by school level.

Conduct managers can create attendance rules to tie tardies and absences to consequences.

Schools opting to use a points system to track behavioral infractions can additionally specify time-based parameters to determine the periods when points will accumulate and reset. These settings can be used to better follow school-specific policies.
Different point calculation rules can be assigned to each school level. Select an option from the Show settings for drop-down to configure infraction rules for a specific school level.
Select Edit rules to select between three time-frame calculations options:
-
Each term in the school year - Points will accumulate for each term and reset at the beginning of the following term.
-
The entire school year - Points will accumulate throughout the school year and reset at the onset of the following school year.
-
Specific date ranges for each school year - Specify a custom range to determine when point accumulation should begin and reset. Once a date range has been entered, a new field will appear automatically; the new date range fields can be filled optionally to further specify additional point accumulation and reset periods. Entered dates cannot occur within the date range of another entered date.
All infraction date rules will appear under General rules for the selected school year.

If your school will not be using Conduct and you wish to hide tasks from constituents, a platform manager can disable the role tasks through manage roles.

Conduct managers can review infractions in one of two areas in Academics:
-
Select Home to see the Academics Dashboard. Under Items to review, the Infractions heading will display how many infractions are ready to approve. Select the number beside it to review the infractions.
Or,
-
Go to Conduct and select Approval.
Note that you may need to adjust the date range once reaching the Review Infraction page in order to see all pending infractions. By default, this page only displays infractions that were entered in the past 7 days.
