Invoice Records in Receivables

To open an invoice record, select it in the list of invoices from Receivables, Invoice. The Overview tab displays for you to view and edit additional info. You can also add a line item for the client to increase the amount of the invoice for a billing item.

  • Payments and credits — Displays the line items applied to the invoice.

    Tip: In database view, the invoice record displayed applied payment and credit line items, as well as all available payments and credits that you could apply to the invoice.

  • Add line item — Add line items for the invoice to increase the total amount the client owes for billing items such as a flat fee (for example, a shipping charge) or a variable fee (for example, two tickets for $10). For more details, see Invoice Line Items in Receivables.

  • Overview — Review the cards for info about the invoice's balance, client info, line items, payments, and credits. You can also view and add notes for the invoice.
