Net Assets Analysis

At times, you may need to compare net assets based on their restrictions — such as temporarily restricted or unrestricted — and review trends over time. To quickly assess your organization's current net assets as well as trends, select Net Assets from Analysis, Dashboards for a dashboard of key metrics.

Tip: When you apply a filter, all metrics in the dashboard are updated. For more information, see Net Assets Analysis Filters. Note that the Post date filter does not apply to calculations under Current totals.

Under Current totals, you can — at a glance — review your organization's total, current net assets, as well as the total amount of funds that are unrestricted, temporarily restricted, and permanently restricted. These totals are based on the Post status and Fund filters you select. For more information, see Current Totals.
