Fixed Assets Settings

Under Fixed assets, Settings, you can manage your depreciation years, asset classes, and depreciation methods.

Note: The options that appear under Settings are based on the security rights of the user.

Under Depreciation years, you manage and create depreciation years. For more information, see Depreciation Years.

Under Asset classes, you manage and create asset classes. For more information, see Asset Classes.

Under Depreciation methods, you can enable and disable depreciation methods to use on assets. In the web view, you can only use "Straight line" or "Do not Depreciate" when you create a new asset. For more information, see Depreciation Methods.

Note: Any existing assets you have with depreciation methods other than "Straight line" or "Do not depreciate," are view-only records.
