Default Post List
The default post list serves as the main container for transactions as you prepare them for posting to the general ledger.
Tip: For information about how to add and manage user-generated post lists, see Get Started with Post Lists.
The default list is a system-generated list that always exists. You can't change or delete it. You can adjust filters to view different transactions in the list, and you can create a new list from this one, but you can't apply and save different filters for this list.

-
Navigate to Receivables.
-
Under Related links, select Post lists.
-
Search and find the "Unposted transactions" list. To confirm it's the correct list, make sure "True" appears in the Default column.
Note: Transactions in the default list are not in a journal entry batch and have a post status of "Not yet posted."

-
"Unposted transactions" is always the default list. You can't change this because user-generated lists can't be the default.
Tip: The Default column displays "True" for the default list. All other lists display "False" in the column.
-
New transactions are automatically included in the default list. You can't include them manually.
-
It's likely that most transactions also appear in user-generated lists. This provides a way to group specific lists of transactions to save for batch and validation before posting.
-
If someone deletes a batch, the transactions in it return to the default list.
