Default Form

The Default Form defines the primary application experience for your program. When you configure it correctly, you ensure consistent data collection across every workflow level and reduce setup time for each application cycle.

The system automatically adds the Default Form to each workflow level when you create a program. This enables you to standardize intake requirements without manually assigning forms at each stage.

Create a Default Form

Create a Default Form to capture the information required for your application process.

To create a Default Form, build a new form using the Request form type in Custom Forms. Configure fields to collect the required applicant information. Then save the form for use in program setup.

This will create a centralized form that supports consistent and reliable data collection across your program.

Replace the Default Form

Update the Default Form to refine your application requirements before you receive applications.

You can replace the Default Form only when no applications are associated with it. This protects the integrity of submitted data.

To replace the Default Form, open Applications, Program, then Grant Programs. Create a new program or edit an existing program. Select the Forms area. Select a new form from the Default form list. Save your changes.

Note: Note: You can change the Default Form at any time before applications are received.

Warning: Warning: After you replace the Default Form, update each workflow level manually to reflect the new form. The system does not automatically update previously assigned workflow forms.

Update the current Default Form

Maintain flexibility after applications are received by updating the existing Default Form instead of replacing it.

Note: After applications are submitted, you cannot replace the Default Form. This ensures that submitted applications remain consistent with their original structure.

To update the Default Form, modify the existing form to adjust fields and content, or create a new revision of the form to manage version changes over time.
