Move Applications to New Cycles

An application may need to be moved from one program cycle to another to align with funding or be considered in a future review.

 

Move an individual application to a new cycle

1. Edit the application.

2. Click on the Edit application configuration button.

3. From the Edit application screen, select the Cycle to which this application should be moved.

4. Save the changes to finalize the action.

The application will be moved to this cycle, and the cycle name will be updated across GrantsConnect anywhere that this value is shown.

 

Move multiple applications to a new cycle in bulk

When updating the cycle in bulk, the applications selected must be part of the same program. Additionally, applications should only be moved to a cycle that has the same budget if payments have already been created.

1. Navigate to the Applications area.

2. In the Applications tab, select the checkbox next to the applications to be moved.

3. Select the Update cycle button from the toolbar.

4. From the Update Cycle screen, select the New cycle to which these applications will be moved.

   Note: Eligible cycles must contain matching budgets with those used for any payments for selected applications.

5. Save the changes to finalize the action.

The applications will be moved to this cycle, and the cycle name shown for the applications will be updated across GrantsConnect anywhere that this value is shown.
