Vetting Outreach and Communications
Email communications related to vetting are sent from both GrantsConnect and NPOconnect. Recipients include the organization's point of contact and any active Nonprofit Administrators as well as Grant Managers assigned to the workflow.
When the applicant submits a Vetting Request for a nonprofit organization, NPOconnect automatically sends an email titled YourCause Vetting Request - Employee Giving Invitation
to the point of contact and any active Nonprofit Administrators.
The email prompts the organization to apply for vetting, outlining the steps to take. These steps will vary based on the organization's location. For more information, see Apply for Vetting.
Note: If the status of the Vetting Request does not change, this email will be sent again in two weeks and then again four weeks later.
Grant Managers assigned to the workflow level the application is currently in will receive one of the following emails when the Vetting Request has been completed:
-
GC-43 Vetting Declined (Grant Managers)
-
GC-45 Vetting Approved (Grant Managers)
-
GC-91 Vetting Request Canceled (Grant Managers)
Note: No other email communications are sent to Grant Managers about an organization's vetting progress or status.
Tip: Custom copies of these email templates can be created when setting up your program. For more information, see Set Up Programs to Support Vetting and Adding Organizations.
Note: No emails are sent to applicants about an organization's vetting progress or status.
